A Christmas Miracle

Today...God left us ABSOLUTELY speechless...

Today Asa (my husband) went on his lunch break with some friends from work, not unlike any other day.  They went to Cracker Barrell and upon leaving Asa noticed a man...he wore ragged clothes, was covered in filth, and smelled as though he hadn't bathed in a few months.  Asa; concerned about him... went over to offer a hand. Asa instantly noticed his aqua blue eyes; there was something different about him but he didn't know what. They conversed for a few moments and then Asa asked him if he was hungry...the man, of course, said he was. So Asa went back into Cracker Barrell and bought him an Old Timers breakfast; nothing fancy, just some sausages, eggs, and hash-browns. The man thanked him and then said; "I'm going to go eat this in the sunshine"...Asa turned to walk back to his car and after a few steps he turned back around to wave to the man; and he was gone...within a matter of seconds he was gone. Asa got in his car and drove around for a while trying to find him; but the man was no where to be found. How could a homeless man, old and with a limp, vanish?

Hebrews 13:2 "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."

At that exact moment Asa noticed the man had vanished; 10:21AM, we received an anonymous matching donation on our fundraiser for Aiden. Now, whether you believe the two are linked or not...it's still pretty amazing!!

God provides for his callings...

Our sweet Aiden; God loves you...God is watching over you and he will keep you safe till Mommy and Daddy can bring you home.

Your smile melts my heart; we love you sweetheart!

Words cannot begin to express how grateful we are to all who have helped thus far...whether it be through donation or prayers,  we love and appreciate you ALL!!!

  1. Gave me chills!! Love it!!!

I am soo happy you guys have decided to bring sweet Aiden home into your family. I have loved him for a long time, and while I never met him, I was at his orphanage in 2010. Praying for you and the process!!!
